Nancy R. Reindl

Nancy R. Reindl, age 72 of Manitowoc, passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at Froedtert Holy Family Memorial Medical Center in Manitowoc following ongoing medical conditions, that she is no longer suffering from.

Nancy was born on February 9, 1954, in Manitowoc, daughter of the late Gregory J. “Bud” and Oriet T. (Ploederl) Reindl. She was a 1972 graduate of Manitowoc Lincoln High School. Nancy owned and operated Nancy’s Corner Store on South 14th and Division Street. She later became the dietary manager at Shady Lane Nursing Care Center until the time of her retirement.

Nancy was a great cook and baker, and we always enjoyed ourselves when she shared her talents with us. And we can’t forget her Manhattans that she enjoyed every evening before dinner. Nancy was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Parish.

Survivors include one sister and brother-in-law: Judy (Patrick) Shallue; one brother and sister-in-law: Jerome (Lori) Reindl; eight nieces and nephews: Brian (Katina) Shallue, Kevin (Peggy) Shallue, Lisa (Jim) Hynek, Mikki Reindl, Craig Reindl, Jamie (Tonia) Reindl, Heather (Travis) Orth, Don (Allyson) Reindl; other relatives and friends survive. She was preceded in death by her parents: Gregory “Bud” and Oriet Reindl; one brother: Daniel Reindl; one sister-in-law: Cheryl Reindl; one great-niece: Payton Hynek.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the Pfeffer Funeral Home, 928 South 14th Street, Manitowoc. Chaplain Dan Borchers will officiate. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service at 11:00 a.m.
